How it all started
Being able to speak English and Spanish, at age 17, I started working as a translator at a glass factory in my native Venezuela. English-speaking experts would come from various parts of the world to train our local engineers in all aspects of running a factory efficiently, and I was the communication link among them. This experience jump-started my love for production processes, opened my eyes to the power of mentoring and coaching, and fuelled my passion for collaboration across cultures.
The journey
A few years later, after completing Industrial Production and Business Management degrees, I started a 20-year journey in the automotive manufacturing industry. My assignments took me to work in major business transformations in Asia, Africa and Latin America. There, I worked with hundreds of companies to help them grow and improve their product’s quality and costs through the optimization of their sourcing and supply chain operations.
Unexpected Adversity
In 2018, I realized my native country had become exceedingly unsafe, and I made the difficult decision to leave so much behind, including my job of 20 years and move my family permanently to our second home country, Canada. The decision to leave my corporate job was not an easy one; neither was the transition period that followed, but it was, by all accounts, the right thing to do, and I am profoundly grateful for my journey.
Building a new chapter
I have now settled with my family in “La Belle Province,” Quebec. I have created Ana Lovera & Co., a company dedicated to Supply Chain Coaching and Mentoring services, and I am a founding partner of Actiona International. A fast-growing Canadian company that executes business operations solutions with presence in 12 countries in Asia, Europe and The Americas.

From becoming a manager in a rigorous manufacturing environment at age 27 to being a mother and an ex-pat working in senior corporate roles and then starting all over again in a new country, Ana is no stranger to change and challenges, yet she loves adventure and strives to see the good in all things.
Throughout her career, she has inspired countless colleagues and clients to achieve their goals through her compelling mentoring and coaching style, and she isn’t slowing down. Her ability to create step-by-step frameworks to simplify otherwise complex topics has been one of the keys to her success in the corporate world and as an entrepreneur.
